This was our 26th anniversary, so we wanted someplace special for dinner and Monacacy Crossing filled the bill in every respect. I won't bother to rave in detail about the food, only to say that the very creative menu offered some wonderful choices and the ones we ordered (Shrimp and Grits on red pepper grits, and Schnitzel) were both outstanding. We rarely order appetizers but we splurged on the cheese board, and were glad we did. The assortment of cheeses was excellent and all the little "goodies" to add to the cheeses were delightful. Well, there I go, raving about the food!

We were in the area visiting our daughter and grandkids and wanted to go to dinner someplace special for our anniversary. After a quick google search, we decided to make a reservation at Monocacy Crossing, and we were so glad we did. Everything from the food to the service was wonderful!! We put on the reservation that it was our anniversary, and they had a nice little sign on the table for us and offered us a free dessert. We also ordered a second one as well because I love chocolate Raspberry and wanted to try the Truffle Cake. Both our steak dishes and the appetizer were also fabulous. We hope to return on our next visit to the area!!!

I’m from Frederick, but have lived out of state since 2011. I try to carve out time to stop by MC every or every other visit I make. Of all the places I’ve lived it’s probably the only place I can count on for cocktails, their bar menu is def one of the best I’ve seen and everything is crafted perfectly. Huge, amazing wine selection to die for. The guys in my family are big fans of their bourbon selection. The food has never been anything but amaze. Fave apps are the duck nachos, crabby deviled eggs, and scallops. I often go for the seasonal seafood pasta they have entree wise. I haven’t had their coconut pound cake, but I heard it’s got a cult following so I’m itching to get back to try it! I was skimming through some of the bad reviews and yes, sometimes it can get loud-and yes it’s a very loved restaurant that can get super busy and sometimes it’s a lot for the staff (who are human) and they might not be able to to get everything perfect every single visit (although, I’ve always been well taken care of). They’ve got a great team, great food, great drinks. On busy nights, give some grace like we all should be doing at all the restaurants we’re visiting.

Went here for date night and it was very much worth the experience. One thing that was very nice is that we got a salad to share and they split it for us so we each got our own plate. Very dish we got was amazing but the scallops were by far the stand out dish that you need to get. The service was great the food was great the place doesn't seem like much from the outside but the inside has a great atmosphere.

What a beautiful evening. From the gentleman that seated us to our waitress, Rosa, the entire experience left a smile on our faces. We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to try a new to us restaurant. This topped our list for great experiences. Our food was delicious and dessert topped it off. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!!

Amazing food. The maple, pecan Old Fashioned was the sweetest old fashion I have ever had. The fried oysters Rockefeller were amazing. And the coconut pound cake at the end was something to behold. Trish and Savannah were superb hosts. I will definitely return for fun and great food.
